Prior to founding Quercus Canyon in 2015, Mr. Bacon was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at US Renewables Group (“USRG”) for 10 years. USRG is an alternative investment management company which managed five private equity funds and numerous separately managed investments. Mr. Bacon was responsible for all aspects of accounting and finance of USRG’s management company, its separately managed investments as well as its private equity funds, including the general partner and portfolio investment holding related entities. Mr. Bacon also managed all aspects of operations, investor reporting and transaction analysis and structuring. Prior to these endeavors, Mr. Bacon was a Senior Auditor in the Audit and Business Advisory Practice at Arthur Andersen LLP.

Mr. Bacon holds a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance from the University of California, Riverside where he graduated magna cum laude. Mr. Bacon is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California.
